Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window
A plane carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the plane's windshield, according to an official statement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.
"The jet touched down following standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, including Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer commented in a online announcement.
The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital at the time.
This event is not the first occasion that a US military aircraft carrying a high-ranking official has suffered equipment failures.
Months ago, a American military jet transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to turn back to Washington after experiencing a mechanical problem.
